“Creative mentorship” affirms mentoring as a tool of personal and professional development, strengthens the capacities of the cultural sector and provides support to prospective professionals interested in developing, networking and sharing knowledge and experience. We want to build, gather and support a community of motivated and socially responsible individuals that will contribute to the development of a society based on creativity, culture, knowledge and mutual cooperation.

“Creative Mentorship” selected new Program Manager

It is our great pleasure to inform our alumni, mentors, partners, associates, candidates and all interested colleagues that through previous open call, “Creative Mentorship” team has successfully chosen our new Program Manager.

We were happy to receive 91 applications and we are thankful to the applicants for devoting their time and effort, and expressing interest to collaborate with us and contribute to the mission of “Creative Mentorship”. Many of the applications were extraordinary, so making the choice was not easy.

After the first round of selection, we held interviews with the shortlisted candidates, whom we considered more thoroughly. Although there applications were not eventually selected for the position of Program Manager, we hope for the occasion to collaborate in the future.

Meet new Program Manager of “Creative Mentorship”, Ms. Jelena Mihajlov!

Jelena was born in 1981 in Zrenjanin. She graduated History of Art at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade and mastered Theory of Culture at the Faculty of Political Science, where is she soon to complete her Doctorate degree in cultural and media studies. Her non-formal education is significant, as well as her organizational and research competences in the field of culture. She is experienced in project management, working in civil as well as public sector in Zrenjanin, from which she is now moving to Belgrade. Some spheres of her professional interests are regional cultural cooperation in the South Eastern Europe, cultural diversity and democracy and socio-cultural animation.

Once more we express gratitude to all those who spread information about our open call, which led to receiving many great applications, as well as to those who applied to the call. We are looking forward to collaborating in the future!
