After careful consideration, the Creative Mentorship team, together with other Music4Change partners, selected 11 candidates to become mentees and matched them with 11 mentors from around the world to participate in The Bridge Mentorship Programme, part of the ERASMUS+ project Music4Change.
You can read more about the candidate selection process in this article.
The Bridge is an innovative pilot mentorship programme for doctoral and postdoctoral music students from around the world, designed to support their personal and professional development and help them transition from academia to the job market. The concept of The Bridge Mentorship Programme is based on the Creative Mentorship methodology and is delivered by the Creative Mentorship team in collaboration with Music4Change project lead — the University of Bergen (Norway) — and six other partners: the University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom), the University of Groningen (Netherlands), the private Gustav Mahler University of Music (Austria), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway), and the European Music Council (Germany).
The 11 selected mentees, supported by their experienced mentors and the Creative Mentorship team, will have the opportunity to grow and learn in their respective fields throughout the one-year programme. Participation in The Bridge Mentorship Programme will support their professional development and ease their transition into various music-related ecosystems.
