April strategic planning and gathering of the Advisory and Honorary Board of Creative Mentorship in Mokrin!
A team of amazing domestic and foreign experts in mentoring, cultural diplomacy, cultural management, cultural heritage, marketing, and communications has for years contributed to the quality of our program with their knowledge, ideas, experience, and sincere dedication. They also continue to do so in the second decade of Creative Mentorship. This April, members of the Advisory and Honorary Board who live and work all over the world and who came to Serbia especially for this occasion, together with the Creative Mentorship team, gathered in Mokrin in the inspiring space of Mokrin House and spent several days thinking about plans and important future steps for our organization. The great news is that we have two new Advisory Board members and significant reinforcements – Nana Radenković, co-founder of Nova Iskra and alumni mentor of the Creative Mentorship program, and Tamara Kojić, producer, activist, and alumni mentee of the program.
After more than ten years of work, Creative Mentorship is at a significant turning point – our program is becoming global, and the new decade in the work of Creative Mentorship brings new partners all over Europe, which we are very proud of. The gathering in Mokrin was significant because of the recapitulation of work in all previous years and the creation of ideas and goals for the next ten years. We left Mokrin with a full heart, with the idea that in the next ten years, conversation by conversation, we will continue to change the world for the better.
The gathering in Mokrin was preceded by a large spring gathering of the Creative Mentorship network on April 20 in Nova Iskra. It was an excellent opportunity to get together, network, see many dear faces in one place, and hear what they are currently working on and what new projects they are initiating.
