“Creative mentorship” affirms mentoring as a tool of personal and professional development, strengthens the capacities of the cultural sector and provides support to prospective professionals interested in developing, networking and sharing knowledge and experience. We want to build, gather and support a community of motivated and socially responsible individuals that will contribute to the development of a society based on creativity, culture, knowledge and mutual cooperation.

The ongoing, ‘Creative Leaders Mentorship Programme’ – developed under the joint
project ‘Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans’ (CC4WBS), implemented by
UNESCO, British Council and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS)
and funded by the European Union, is also the 7th cycle of the mentoring programme
conducted by the Creative Mentorship. CC4WBs is an EU-funded project aimed at
stimulating dialogue in the Western Balkans by strengthening cultural and creative
sectors for increased socio-economic impact.

The concept of the ‘Creative Leaders Mentorship Programme’ is based on the
methodology of the Creative Mentorship and our team is implementing it
from December 2023 to December 2024.

‘Creative Leaders Mentorship Programme’ focus on empowering 25 leaders and/or
future leaders across the Western Balkans region, who want to improve their skills
and strengthen their professional development through individual work with mentors
in relation to their specific needs and goals. Next to mentoring, programme activities
offer networking, peer-learning, strengthening of knowledge, as well as strong
encouragement and support in increasing participants’ competitiveness and growth
perspectives, along with skills and aptitude for cross regional collaboration within the
culture, art and creative industries.

You can find the list of this year’s participants at this link.

The call for applications for the new cycle of the mentoring programme will be
launched in November 2024. Follow us for more information.
