“Creative mentorship” affirms mentoring as a tool of personal and professional development, strengthens the capacities of the cultural sector and provides support to prospective professionals interested in developing, networking and sharing knowledge and experience. We want to build, gather and support a community of motivated and socially responsible individuals that will contribute to the development of a society based on creativity, culture, knowledge and mutual cooperation.

Selected Participants of the Creative Mentorship for Young Professionals Programme

As part of the regional Open call for participation in the Creative Mentorship for Young Professionals Programme, over 100 applications were received from across the Western Balkans. The Creative Mentorship team, together with alumni, mentors, and mentees from previous programme cycles, dedicatedly worked on reviewing all the applications. In January 2025, online interviews were conducted with all candidates who made it to the second round.

Given the high quality of the applications, the relevance and innovativeness of the projects and initiatives the candidates are working on, as well as their motivation and great potential, the Creative Mentorship team faced the challenging task of selecting 30 mentees—professionals in the fields of arts, culture, and creative industries—who will be part of the programme this year.
