SPECIAL LIBRARY WITH SPECIAL POWERS

With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information and the National Library of Serbia, on December 12 and 13, the 16th Conference of the Library Society of Serbia was held with the theme “Small Libraries in Great Dialogue for Change” in Belgrade.

This international conference of the Library Society of Serbia sought to open up a space for dialogue on topics that primarily concern small or small libraries, in order to attract the attention of the professional public to this numerous and diverse segment of library and information activities.

Bojana Petraš, a librarian at the Special Library of the National Museum in Zrenjanin and a participant of the 5th generation of the “Creative Mentorship” program, presented her work at the Special Library of Special Powers at the Conference. Bojana introduced the museum library and spoke about its business, functioning, fund, and beneficiaries. She devoted a special segment to networking, support, and exchange of experiences with other colleagues from the cultural scene. She also dedicated one part to the “Creative Mentorship” program and how much the participation in it helped her in her work and progress so far.
