Book Promotion of “Mentorica” by our alumna Snježana Bahtijari in Zagreb
A special joy in our work comes from witnessing the continued success of our alumni and sharing beautiful moments and achievements with them.
One such moment took place in October in Zagreb, when we had the great pleasure of attending the promotion of “Mentorica” — a book by Snježana Bahtijari, a mentor with decades of experience, a long-time communications, marketing, and corporate social responsibility manager in the ICT industry, and a collaborator of the friendly mentoring program “Mentorship as a Form of Networking Among Women” from Croatia. Snježana is also the only mentor from the region who has participated in our program twice.

As Snježana was the mentor of our alumna Milena Đurđev, now Program Manager at Creative Mentorship, Milena had the opportunity to address the audience during the promotion, share her experience of the mentoring process, and contribute to the event with a violin performance. Reflecting on this experience, Milena shared:
I had the honor and sincere joy to be part of the promotion of Mentorica, a collection of personal and professional knowledge and experiences by my mentor, Snježana Bahtijari, held in the beautifully filled hall of the National and University Library in Zagreb.
Through her years of strategic work in the business sector, communications, sustainability, empowerment, and people development, Snježana continues to inspire, connect, and build bridges between people, experiences, and ideas.
The Creative Mentorship program brought us together more than ten years ago, and since then, Snježana has been so much more than a mentor to me — she is someone with whom I still share and reflect on both personal and professional challenges, someone who believes in me, sometimes even more than I believe in myself. And, perhaps most importantly, a friend for life.
It was a truly special opportunity to stand before a wonderful audience — supporters and now readers of Mentorica — and to share a small part of what working and growing with Snježana has meant to me, through music and through memories of everything that has connected us over the years.
The energy in the room was unique — filled with people from the business, intellectual, cultural, creative, and media circles of Zagreb, Croatia, the region, and beyond. That beautiful mix reflected Snježana’s openness, versatility, and generosity, as well as her ability to bring people together and inspire positive change around her.
I am deeply grateful to Snježana for the invitation and for the opportunity to, in my own way, contribute to spreading the idea of mentorship as a powerful tool for personal and professional growth — and to once again feel the strength of connection, inspiration, and support.
As Snježana writes in her book: ,,Knowledge that isn’t shared is worth less.”
We once again congratulate our mentor Snježana on the successful publication of her book and look forward to future opportunities to continue empowering other professionals together — promoting and spreading the idea of mentorship as a transformative force for growth and connection.
