WORK AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS WORKSHOP HELD
On Saturday, 7th of December, the teamwork/communication skills workshop was held for the participants of the 5th generation of the “Creative Mentorship” program. In this workshop, participants had the opportunity to work on improving their business communication in order to develop and improve social skills as well as relationships within teams.
The workshop was extremely interactive and through different tasks, role-play, and group work gave the participants the opportunity to learn how to recognize different behaviors of people in their business environment. Through these exercises, they also had the opportunity to learn about the DISC theory of American psychologist William Molton Marston, who maps different types of people according to the dominant style of their behavior and learn how to apply it to tailor their communication in a constructive way.
The training was led by Nikola Valičković, a certified TACK & TMI master trainer and facilitator of group processes, who has dedicated the past 8 years to creating innovative educational solutions for individuals, NGOs, and companies. Nikola is the “Learning Journey Consultant” of the Gi Group, which as a longtime major educational partner of “Creative Mentorship”, supports program participants through various training, workshops, and coaching sessions.
The workshop was evaluated by the participants with the highest marks, and after the workshop in the same space was organized a meeting with mentors, alumni members, and program partners.
The workshop and socializing were held in the great space of “Lumina Images”, a stock photo studio led by one of the participants of the 5th cycle of the program Aleksej Vasic, to which we are especially grateful.
