Creative Mentorship Presents its Work at a Conference Dedicated to Mentorship Programs for Women in Academia
One of the key goals of the Creative Mentorship team is to enhance the visibility of our one-year mentorship program, which is aimed at professionals from the fields of culture, arts, creative industries, and media through collaboration with similar mentorship programs and networks in Europe. With great pleasure, at the invitation of the eument-net network members, we spent a few days in Constanța (Romania), at the beginning of September, where we participated in the conference “Mentoring – Potentials for the Advancement of Female Careers in European Academia and Research and Gender Equality Plans”.
Eument-net is a network of mentoring programs that focuses on promoting equal opportunities and driving cultural and institutional change in academia and research.
The aim of the conference in Constanța was to share best practices and positive examples of mentoring programs aimed at advancing women’s careers in academia and implementing Gender Equality Plans (GEP). The conference also provided excellent networking opportunities for the development of joint actions in the fields of mentorship and gender equality.
At the conference, we presented our mentorship program, including the methodology we apply, the selection of participants and mentors, and how we provide support to participants throughout the program.
You can check out the atmosphere from the conference on our Instagram profile.
In Constanța, we were warmly welcomed, met incredible women, established new contacts, and were filled with positive energy! A big thank you to the eument-net team for the invitation—it is a pleasure to be part of a network that encourages, supports, shares knowledge, and inspires!
