“Creative mentorship” affirms mentoring as a tool of personal and professional development, strengthens the capacities of the cultural sector and provides support to prospective professionals interested in developing, networking and sharing knowledge and experience. We want to build, gather and support a community of motivated and socially responsible individuals that will contribute to the development of a society based on creativity, culture, knowledge and mutual cooperation.

A mentee’s reflection

A mentee should dedicate 30-60 minutes for personal reflection after each mentoring session, ideally during the same day. After working with 70 mentorship couples in the “Creative Mentorship” programme, mentees’ reflection proved to be a very important Tool. During the mentoring session, topics open and the conversation often leads to diverse digressions. Therefore, many issues that raise during the session prove very useful only later in the mentoring process and it is important to memorise them.

Write down the summary of your mentoring session:

  • What did you talk about?
  • What are the three things that have particularly moved/inspired you during and after the session?
  • What did you learn?
  • What should you do/consider/investigate before the next session?
